Studio Team

Our team is the heart and soul of Just For The Record, a group of dedicated professionals who share a love for music and a commitment to excellence and service.

Daniel

Daniel Cullen is a Los Angeles-based producer and engineer known for creating rich, multidimensional recordings. As a student of music and an avid record collector, Daniel’s deep understanding of music history and sound helps him craft productions that are both innovative and grounded in tradition.

His broad musical knowledge allows him to work across many genres, bringing unique textures and a strong sense of musicality to every project. Daniel approaches each project with care, focusing on delivering high-quality, impactful mixes rather than rushing the process.

His dedication has led to collaborations with top artists like Bebe Rexha, NAV, Paula Abdul, Shaboozey, Ashnikko, Ashton Irwin, Khalid, Zara Larsson, and David Guetta, among others.

Stephanie

Stephanie D’Arcy is a versatile audio engineer, record producer, and songwriter from the Bay Area, California. She has worked with various artists including Zara Larsson, Becky G and Jacob Collier. 

Jeffrey

Jeffrey is a Los Angeles Native, Berklee graduate, latin percussionist, drummer & DJ. He servers as the Front of House Manager. 

 

Kaelen

Hailing from Berkeley, CA, and of half-Japanese descent, Kaelen Russell is a classically trained pianist with a passion for creating engaging and immersive music. With a strong musical foundation and extensive technical skills, Kaelen has a sharp ear for detail and a passion for innovation, combining musical sensitivity with a fresh creative style. When not in the studio, Kaelen enjoys learning new tactics in chess and playing basketball.

Regina

Originally from Los Angeles, Regina is a Grammy-nominated engineer and has taken their audio expertise all over the world. They were previously an assistant engineer at Powerstation NYC. Some credits include: Tick, Tick…Boom!, Annie Live!, and Djesse Vol. 4, eventually going on tour with Jacob Collier as part of the audio team. 

Currently, Regina is back in Los Angeles working as the tech lead and engineer on JFTR’s team. They gladly continue to advocate safe spaces for creatives and challenge industry standards for the highest and most efficient audio experience

Oliver

Oliver van Moon is a record producer, musician, and audio engineer from Oakland, California.


Kristina

A vocal producer and engineer from Orlando, Florida, joined the team in September 2023. With experience assisting Grammy-nominated vocal producer Simone Torres, Kristina has worked on records for major artists such as Becky G and Sofia Carson. Her keen ear for detail and passion for crafting exceptional vocal performances ensure high-quality recordings that resonate with authenticity and emotion. Kristina's dynamic and supportive approach fosters an empowering atmosphere for artists to explore their creativity.

Joel

Joel Quatrocchi is a Los Angeles-based engineer and producer from Argentina, who spent more than seven years writing mission-critical software for satellite, radar and icebreaker systems in Argentina's government aerospace and defense programs before graduating from Berklee College of Music.

His work spans vocals to orchestras, whether as sole or lead engineer running the rooms from setup through delivery. He served as the recording engineer for the brass section on GIVĒON's GRAMMY-nominated "Avalanche", and the string sections for Luisa Sonza's "Telefone" and "Depois Do Fim". In film and games, he also served as recording engineer for kobyz for Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 score; solo violin for Riot Games' 2XKO "A Race Across Ionia", Hypergryph Arknights "魔王", Samsung and Spitfire Audio advertising campaigns. He holds seven GRAMMY-nominated credits across the 67th and 68th Awards, one as Engineer, including Album of the Year and back-to-back Record of the Year.

He also served as assistant engineer for Zara Larsson's "Midnight Sun", Timothée Chalamet's "A Complete Unknown", and on Dolby Atmos for Billie Eilish's "HIT ME HARD AND SOFT", Beck, Top Dawg Entertainment, and Dolby sessions. Across Netflix originals, Warner Bros. Animation, and Disney, he holds over 40 assistant engineering credits in English dubbing, spanning 2 feature films and 12 series, including X-Men '97 and Batman: Caped Crusader, as well as Korean, Turkish, Spanish, German, and Polish titles.

At Just For The Record he built in-house studio communication and booking systems alongside his work in the rooms. No matter the room, his ethos is the same: every nuance of the performance reaches the listener pristinely.
