Do you have coffee?
We have a state of the art MIELE coffee machine with different hot drink settings and we grind beans daily for our own in-house cold brew. For our non-coffee drinking friends, we have a selection of caffeinated and non-caffeinated teas.

What are your rates?
Each room ranges from $110 – $170/hour with a 4-hour minimum. The rates vary based on studio selection, equipment rentals, and setup.

Does the room rate include an engineer?
No, the room rate only includes an assistant engineer. With a $65 increase to the standard hourly rate, we are happy to provide you with one of JFTR’s wonderful staff engineers. You are always welcome to bring in your own at no additional cost.

While smoking is not allowed in the studios or common areas within our facility, you are more than welcome to do so in our outdoor seating area.

Do you have parking?
Parking is available in our private parking lot, but spaces are limited. Give us a call before your session to check on our parking lot availability. There is additional street parking available until 9pm on Lankershim Blvd. (front of the studio) and unlimited street parking in the neighborhood around the studio. Check out our parking map.
Do you have Instruments and microphones?
We offer a selection of instruments, including an upright piano, electric guitars, electric bass, synth bass, percussions, and more. You are welcome to use our in-house microphones as well. Check out our gear/instrument list. If you need anything beyond what we offer at the studio, we are happy to rent it for you.

With our dedication to service and the oasis-like feel, we aim to remove any obstacles, so that our clients can focus on the music making process.
The studio was founded by producer Moritz Braun and opened its doors in August 2021. The acoustics were designed by Jochen Veith, the build was done by Classic Projects.
